We have good news for all hosts using IdoBooking. Our platform has entered into a formal partnership with the Polish Short-Term Rental Association (PSWK) — an industry organization that has represented the interests of individuals and companies operating in the short-term rental sector in Poland since 2019.

Who is PSWK and what is their goal?

PSWK is the only industry association in Poland bringing together entrepreneurs connected to the accommodation services market. Its members represent companies operating more than 10,000 accommodation properties across the country.

PSWK’s main goal is to actively shape the legal environment surrounding the industry. For years, the association has been:

  • lobbying government and local administration bodies for regulations favorable to the industry,
  • participating in consultations on new legislation affecting short-term rentals,
  • representing the industry at local government congresses, hospitality forums, and in the media,
  • keeping its members continuously informed about legislative changes and the practical aspects of running a rental business.

What does this partnership bring to IdoBooking hosts?

Thanks to the partnership with PSWK, as the operator of the IdoBooking platform we will have ongoing access to the latest information on draft laws and regulatory changes affecting short-term rentals in Poland. This means we’ll be able to inform you faster and more effectively about important legal changes that may affect your business — before they even become law.

What does PSWK membership offer?

A partnership is one thing, but PSWK also invites individual hosts and companies to join the association directly. PSWK membership comes with concrete benefits:

  • Access to discounts and offers prepared specifically for association members,
  • Access to industry knowledge — useful information, materials, and expert guidance on running a short-term rental business,
  • A real opportunity to influence new legislation — PSWK is planning intensive work on new industry regulations in the near future, and members can take part in consultations and submit their input directly to the people drafting the law.

That last point matters a lot given the upcoming legislative changes — being a PSWK member is a chance to make sure new laws are shaped by the real needs of the industry, not only by the administration’s point of view.

What’s been happening at PSWK lately?

The association has been very active. A few recent highlights:

  • Webinar with IdoBooking — together with us, PSWK is organizing a webinar on what to do when a guest damages a property, and how to protect your listing from a legal and practical standpoint.
  • PSWK training conference — an event organized by the association drew more than 150 attendees and focused on new regulations and new requirements facing the short-term rental industry.
  • New association partners — the companies Renteye (main partner of the training conference) and WashPRO, a nationwide laundry services and linen rental provider for accommodation properties, recently joined PSWK’s network of partners and supporting members.
  • A voice in the debate on new legislation — PSWK reported on remarks by Minister Ireneusz Raś regarding how the planned short-term rental regulations are expected to work in practice.
